The 2007 versions of the Husqvarna Dual Purpose models WRE 125 and TE 610 IE have been completely redesigned both in appearance and technical content.
With the Dual range, Husqvarna aims at making machines that are easy to use not only both off-road and for daily commuting but also for long-distance journeys. Both the WRE 125 and TE 610 IE have in fact won many motorcycle rallies and international events like the Motorally and the Raid Marathon. In fact this year, the new TE 610 IE came home with first prize in the Marathon class that is reserved for production machines.
They are now available in Red and White colour schemes.

WRE 125
The WR 125 has undergone a face lift with plastic bodywork parts. The machine now resembles the Centennial and the four-stroke models with its new red and white colour scheme.
The 125 engine has been tuned to improve pick-up and to improve output in the low to mid range power band.
The newest item however is the integrated ECS Electronic Carburetion System that administers exactly the right amount of fuel (both the air/petrol and oil mix) developed in collaboration with Dell’Orto. The control unit also governs the ignition system. While keeping costs under control and sales prices competitive, this brings the two-stroke 125 engine to Euro 3 standards yet maintains all the advantages that two-stroke engines offer: lightness, performance and low running costs.
the suspension has been up-dated with Marzocchi forks and newly calibrated Sachs shock absorbers. The pump for the rear brakes now has an integrated oil reservoir.
All Enduro and dual purpose models now come supplied with hand guards for optional fitting.
The new digital instrument panel provides all the information necessary even for use in rallies. The display has a stop watch, trip-meter and an elapsed and total mileage indicator. Again on the subject of rallies, the headlamp is now more powerful thus offering increased safety for both on and off-road use.

HUSQVARNA TE 610 IE
The Husqvarna TE 610IE lines up with the WRE 125. This new model has been designed to fill a gap in a particularly interesting sector of the motorcycle market – that of the 600 cc four-stroke, single cylinder, off-road machine.
Based on the SM 610, the new Husqvarna TE 610IE benefits from having many parts in common with other four-stroke, racing Enduro Husqvarnas.
